You say not true but the article says not enough data:

The UK used a much higher percentage of AstraZeneca though (because it's produced there and was available first). Which is known to be less effective than Pfizer and Moderna against omikron.
I'm not saying it's not dangerous, just that the situation won't necessarily be exactly the same for other EU countries or the US.
Last report is that AZ and Sputnik provide no protection against Omicron. A boosted Pfizer or Moderna is supposed to keep you out of ICU, but not keep you from catching or propagating it.

We will have pretty amazing US data in a few days that will finally give us a real answer.

Emphasis on that last sentence.
I'm not saying it's not dangerous, just that the situation won't necessarily be exactly the same for other EU countries or the US.
Still, caution is very much warranted indeed.
