Just because you can doesn't mean you should. Did anybody stop to think how this could become a "I told you so" moment for the tinfoil hatters? They will milk the hell out of it.
On a more rational side: do we really want this, considering all the fails with QR vaxx passports so far? Replacing this is not trivial, as opposed to a paper slip.
I agree but a NFC Covid-19 pass under the skin it would be useful these days, after you can always re-program it other functions.
By the way Swedish people are already using (a lot compared to other states) under skin NFC chips. So for us it could be weird (and it is), but for Swedish it’s less.
At this point are they still considered tinfoil hatters ? Someone in my entourage was talking about COVID chip last year and I was telling myself "this is nuts, too far fetched", but here we come.
What scripting language will some kid use to take these things over and how many lines of code will it be? Any predictions? Will the kid reprogram everyone to be labelled as a terrorist, or just remove their vax status? What future fun can be had with these? Will these be used in the future as a car/house key? Authentication to financial institutions? Food preferences at restaurants? Anyone with these implants demo them at blackhat or defcon yet?
