There’s an ’r’ missing at the end of that title; the linked to article is titled “Still wanna tell me open source software is universally safer…?”.
That’s not because the title is too long for HN, so I guess (edit: wrongly, as the submitter let me know) the submitter removed it in order to get more attention for this article (which, IMO and being polite, does not make a strong argument)
It could, however also be a bug in HN’s title sanitizer.
