> Long Covid covers a broad range of symptoms including fatigue, coughs, headaches and muscle pain

> An estimated 1.2 million people reported having long Covid in the UK in the four weeks to October 31

I really need to see those reports. I am curious how many of these are "I think I have long Covid", or "I feel fatigued" and whatnot.

Fatigue, headaches, and muscle pain are extremely common.

Some Norwegian research (reported only in Norwegian IIRC) suggested that up to half was treatable using a strenuous fitness regime. Strenuous meaning one that involves considerable discipline on part of the patient and many working hours for the medical staff. This suggests to me that at least half of the fatigue is new and as as of today untreatable.

(Of course a few people will have happened to catch something that caused chronic fatigue at the same time as they caught covid, just by chance. Coincidences happen, sometimes.)
