Well, apparently he’s double vaccinated so I don’t know how someone can call him anti vax. From what I’ve seen, he’s more or less pointing out scientific arguments against vaccinating children or even mandating it for healthy, low risk people. I don’t necessarily agree with what he says, but I don’t see a problem with getting another viewpoint from someone that’s evidently well educated in the field.
Seems you are, though with all of the Newspeak going around now you can't be blamed.
Dr. Malone is one of the foremost experts on mRNA technology, contributing much of the original research on it. He is also vaccinated.
The only positions I've seen him argue are against mandated vaccinations for children (due to the lack of sterilizing immunity), and he also raised alarms about the damage Moderna appeared to be causing in a specific cohort (males, under 30). Now that many EU countries (and Canada I believe) have stopped giving Moderna to under 30 males, he appears to have been correct on that front.
What's really interesting is what he was banned for. Or, why so many people are ok with it.
> This comes after public health officials determined there is a 1 in 5,000 risk of myocarditis — a form of heart inflammation — following a second dose of the Moderna vaccine.
Context on who this is: Antivax grifter who did research on mRNA vaccines over 30 years ago. And to bolster his grift, claims to be the inventor. As of right now I think he's still pushing ivermectin.
A "grift" is a small-time con, a carnival trick or back-alley shell game for a few bucks. The word has been co-opted by social media users who were and are ignorant of its actual meaning, I suppose because it's fun to say.
There is very little small-time about the corruption various "grifters" are accused of perpetrating.
If you're debating whether he was the true creator of the mRNA technology or if he has some anti-vax bias influencing is opinions you're completely missing the point.
Whether you like it or not, Dr Malone should be part of the conversation on the safety and efficacy of mRNA vaccines and the treatment of COVID because if he is not qualified to speak or have an opinion on this topic then literally who is?
It's absolutely ridiculous that we're still at each others throats on this. If there was some hypothetical pro-vax radical at Pfizer pushing the need for quarterly boosters then they should equally be part of the conversation. This isn't Alex Jones anymore, these are educated and previously respected people with huge followings who should have a voice in a supposedly free, democratic country. Wake up.
