This is a single use magnesium battery powered light. Salt water is not the power source in any way.

yeah, my first thought was something like this - claiming that the use of salt water as an electrolyte (I assume) in an otherwise generic battery
What kind of power output does this thing have? The page (as well as waterlight's own page) is light (eheh) on details. Seems like all the scenes in the promo video is well lit by other sources.

The comments confirmed my doubt - how can this device violates the conservation of energy? It doesn't and is a scam.
The fuel is the magnesium. Plates of it are consumed gradually as ions are stripped from them and bond to the graphite. The downside is that this reaction isn’t reversible. You cannot recharge it. The magnesium plates are destroyed in the process on a molecular level, and must be replaced.
