Ask HN: Any serious research on new crypto currency?

So i was thinking doing my own research but maybe there was already published something, what i wanted to check is the influence of:

* existence of large accounts on that coin

* large/small market capital and volume

* early price movements

* github activity commits/stars/number of developers

I wanted to gather this kind of information including price and check again on the coins in 7-30 days.

Obviously there are informations which are hard to quantify but still.

I dont think i am the first person to think about this so maybe something was already published ?

An idea that's been done many times already. Turns out 99% of these projects are scams used to sell tokens to suckers. If you're not in bed with the scammers you are the mark

perhaps i can find common red flags then, i do hope legit coins appear more than 1% tho

Then who's the market? If you are not in the business of selling tokens to suckers or gamblers then you don't have a business
