What an amazing age she reached, few do. I grew up watching Golden Girls way back, it seemed like she didn't age from then. Rest in peace, you'll be missed but you warmed people's hearts for a good time.

She lived a long, wonderful life, bringing joy to millions, and the hot take is what a shame, she didn't hit some arbitrary round number. But I had the same thought. Somewhere inside me there's a numerologist struggling to get out.
I don’t disagree with your comment, but it’s somewhat unusual and extraordinary how Betty White became this cultural icon (in the USA) in her later years- enough of one that I’m not surprised to see this head line here.
