Ask HN: PhDs who’ve gone to hedge funds- how did you learn hedge funding?

Curious, because it almost seems like you’re starting from scratch. What is the curriculum? Is there a standard set of books you are give when you’re a PhD who has opted to go to “the dark side” (only joking)
