Everyone should probably get a landline for emergency since the duopoly have now saturated the market & couldn't care about basic phone functions in a 'phone'.
I thought people loosing their jobs over failed alarms was disaster[1] , It seems plausible that people might have lost their life due to this bug.
I bet no ads on phone could be interrupted by a rogue app /S.
