Every time I stumble on the codebase for DAI, I start crying with laughter.

For reference, DAI is a leading crypto stablecoin, holding 9.3 billion dollars worth of assets.

But the code philosophy believes that made up variable and method names force people to deeply understand the rest of the code, instead of taking shortcuts by just looking at a single method at a time. Also as, convention, all nouns are three letter words, unless they are plural, and verbs are four.

I've linked to the "vat" file, which contains methods "flux", "frob", "fork", "grab", "heal", "suck".

However, the system does contain careful documentation, including gems like the diagram on this page:

Wait, what, really?! The mind boggles...

The documentation reads like a joke (or like it's autogenerated): "Not pictured: cage calls from Vow to Flap and Flop". Wow.
