Looking for Pilot Students to Teach

5 points by zaidqureshi ↗ HN
Hello folks, I'm building an online platform (https://learnly.dev) to teach people software engineering. This program's main differentiator is the focus on problem solving, from fundamentals to practicing real world problems. I'm making it with pilot students that I monitor personally so I can adjust as needed. Please share with anyone who is starting out with their programming journey, preferably people without technical backgrounds.

I excepted the watch / learn / develop buttons at the top to be links with more info.

Is there a free sample? A lesson or a video?

Good feedback, I'll change it up. Since the content is being actively developed, I don't have a trailer end to end. What I can is trial period of what I have so far. I'm also open to hop on a call to answer any questions. Please reach out to me at zaid@learnly.dev
IIRC in DataCamp the first 4 hour lesson of each topic is free. It includes a video, some reading material and a multiple choice quiz. It's nice to see how it will be before paying, but it's somewhat misleading because the guy/gal in the first video is not the same person in all the other videos.
Right, the portal by default has a 7 day free trial mode. So you can get access to everything and cancel without being charged. Anyone who is learning programming through Learnly will be there for a while to end to end, and is being monitored for by me. So it's not just you being on your own
The syllabus looks fine :)
