What I'm seeing in that threat rather seems like the developer had not signed to hackerone and had not invited bugreports, but received an unsolicited request from the OP to join hackerone and probably pay them money for a beg-report. I.e. OP had linked a screenshot from hackerone which states that Netapp does not accept unsolicited bugreports.
But the only proof this guy has is that 1) he sent unsolicited bug reports and 2) got an email from a ProtonMail email address with an employee's name calling him a terrorist.
Which seems more likely?
A) The NetApp employee with his personal ProtonMail account went out of his way to email this guy racist things calling him a terrorist.
B) This guy made it all up for fake internet points and/or sue the company.
