Another alternative might be to use the external keyboard case for the Pinephone and Pinephone Pro (https://pine64.com/product/pinephone-pinephone-pro-keyboard-...). However, the Pinephone is still mostly a device for enthusiasts, end users may still have a hard time working with the phone.
The phone with keyboard weighs around 370g, not much more than the Psion 5mx or the Gemini PDA.
So maybe it's time to port EPOC to the Pinephone or to recreate it? :-) There is some ancient Symbian source code available but this does not include the old EPOC code as far as I know.
