Honestly I don't have too much of a problem with this. I played wordle and really liked it, enough to want to play it more than once a day. If someone's willing to provide that I think it's a good thing, and it's not as if the original creator couldn't have done so himself. I think the OG creator was being a little too idealistic with the 1/day limit (and naive if he didn't think there would be copies that let you play more).
App stores are actually flooded with copycat versions of Worlde. This guy was just dumb enough to copy the name, too.
Remember that 2048 game that was wildly popular for a few years? The popular versions weren’t even the original. They were just copycats that caught on. To this day you can find literally hundreds of copycats of 2048 across App Stores and the internet.
