* Create reminders with Google Assistant probably half a dozen times a day for the last 2-3 years. This is, by far, the most meaningful feature for me. My productivity has most certainly seen a positive impact from the use of Reminders
* Use the "Goodnight" feature to play crickets at bedtime which is a lifesaver because of my tinnitus
* Ask it for the weather quite frequently
* Timers / Alarm clocks (ripped from other comment)
Aside from those specific features, I find anything else to be more burdensome than the traditional routes
Google assistant doesn't even respond to my "Hey Google" requests anymore. Compared to its sensitivity a few years ago this is a huge regression. As such I barely use the voice assistant anymore.
So many Google products have been regressing lately. I've seen complaints about search, and GMail spam filters.
Have a google at home thing in the kitchen which we ask the occasional "what/where/when is XXX" "Call XXX" or "Play XXX" but basically Nothing cool because they understand shit when you speak normally and you feel like an idiot talking to them like a baby.
Its better than it was a few years back but definitely no cigar yet.

My preliterate daughter uses it as her main internet connection.
