People that fare better are often less religious too. Also secular != not religious.
But then at a broader social level you end up with sportX or "newspaperY" calling the shots for those who seek to be led rather than those who seek to enquire. And no matter your political persuasion we can see the numbers on this don't support well a purely democratic system...

That's shite. I can't follow an argument that would be willing to make a senseless statement. I'm over my limit for accepting ignorance (i.e., people and publications that don't understand the difference between correlation and causation.)
