Ask HN: Does AWS hire for the sole purpose of PIP’ing to boost URA?

I heard this from blind, Reddit, and comments on HN. I just don’t know how credible these sources are, but wanted to assess before going through their loop.

Yeah man I got an offer from Amazon and the next thing I knew they were BUP'ing me all day long. It wasn't long until I was LUG'd too. I'm sure their QFC was sky high after that.

You should not pay attention to such conspiracy theories.
