How does SHIB make this list beating so many L1s (BCH,XLM, etc) as a transactional currency? Transfer cost 3 times as much ($35) as ETH ($11), and it’s by far the highest volatility, with the least privacy. I get the idea of SHIB as a fun purchase for tiny amounts, but who is buying what in the real world with it?
It’s just bouncing between db fields on exchanges. Nobody seriously pays for anything in ETH or ERC20 tokens. The exchanges have all been insolvent for ages due to eth fees. Take a look, mostly it’s exchanges burning 3x gas of the value of the tokens. Lol.
Does anyone use crypto for payments?
