Hey HN, I thought I would get a quick feel for the answer to this tech issue I'm having. I have a radio show on a college station. Their website allows you to playback previous shows, the last 4 are archived.

But the player is CRAP! It constantly skips ahead. Literally; i will be listening to a show for a few minutes, then the sound will stop and the player shows you've listened to the full extent of the mp3. Other problems include sudden drop in sound quality and very slow loading times.

My question is: does this sound like something that could be fixed without an overhaul of the website? I don't want to try to pitch something that will cost that much time or $$. But, it's driving me crazy and it's pretty awful to accept that level of quality in 2022.

Thanks in advance!

What browser are you using? I streamed from the URL in the post for 5+ minutes from both Safari and Chrome and didn't seen any skips.
I've done Firefox and Chrome. It's not 100% of the time, but quite often. I have a friend who complains about the same thing using Safari. Haven't been able to figure any kind of pattern out.
