Kinda sad, especially after the server cost model in Lichess. DRAM aren't getting cheaper, SSD aren't getting cheaper. There is nothing in the current project of the next 3 years, up to 2025 that suggest anything will change. And nothing in the R&D phase that suggest there will be improvement before 2030.

What that means is that we enter a decade of computing where we finally wont see any unit cost reduction. CPU may still get better pref / dollar but that may be reaching the end soon as well.

The only thing that will get cheaper is Network I/O.
