Needing recommendation for domain registrar and ISP.

In the US. It has been a while that I've registered a domain. I used to use GoDaddy, and I'd like to try something else. You got any personal recommendation? It's for a personal travel site that I'll be 'practicing'. I live in Seattle if that helps.
