I was writing up some notes for a mentoring thing on AJAX as in Asynchronous JavaScript And XML, and got caught up reading about Ajax instead. I thought it was interesting, and the naming of the web technology has to be somewhat intentional.
Does anyone happen to know the history of the naming? Was it meant to be a bit of a joke?
