I think I spent more time at the office then anyone in my unit last semester. If you asked me why I'd say my house doesn't have air conditioning or central heat. There's more to it than that (We joke that my office building is a "fortress of solitude" on an overcrowded campus; I realized the other day that I am such an introvert that even the characters that I shapeshift into are all people who spend vast amounts of downtime in their lairs so they can step out and briefly accomplish great feats of empathy/charm/seduction.)
Once we got the second wood stove running I've been able to keep warm easily with wood that has been drying for 2-3 years in our shed that I haven't braved the great unknown of where I park in the snow, the state of Coronavirus protections, etc.
