The demise of Techcrunch ?

Some people are saying (in the comments on Techcrunch) that Erick's post: http://techcrunch.com/2011/09/16/paul-i-accept-your-resignation/ is signaling it's demise. I don't know, it seems like typical techcrunch drama to me.
