One interesting nugget here is that for the first time 'Service' actually had positive margin. That is actually quite significant. For many OEM 'Service' is a huge money maker. For Tesla it has been a huge money loser because their fleet was growing so quickly and that means you always have far more vehicle under warranty then off warranty.
Another interesting part is that Musk has now hit basically all of the compensation package. That was 900M~ in 2021. This will drop to 50M~ next year unless there is some new plan with targets that hit instantly (unlikely). So those are 850M that will not be there next year. That will have a nice effect in addition to the continued sales growth.
Energy continue to grow overall but continues to not actually make money. I really hope they can fix that at some point. It seems really the whole solar thing is dragging down that division.
