I feel like the title should add “ in bats”. With all the new variants being discovered in people (Delta, Omicron, etc) I initially thought this was going to be the source of my next 2 week stint in lockdown. Seems like this is more of a warning against a new version of MERS which kills so fast that it doesn’t spread far.
Sir, that is hilariously enlightening.

Lowering title accuracy increases click; The local channel 7 news does that a lot here too.

Sorry, title edit time seem to have expired.
Isn’t this exactly the kind of thing that should get the feds to do an operation warp speed 2 for a pan-coronavirus vaccine like that developed at Walter Reed?

Maybe they can think ahead for a change instead of announcing free masks one month after a huge outbreak.

I have no significant comment on the article, but I think that the title should be changed to indicate that the disease has been discovered in bats, not people.
