Interesting. It might be helpful to have the names attached to the faces. Many people use their code having never seen them. (On a side note, they seem to have left off Richard Stallman. Isn't he just as key as Linus Torvalds? )

   Yes.
Quite surprised why Richard Stallman is absent given that he is the one that (kind of) started it all in the first place.

Really? Even ignoring the debacle last year, rms said that open source (what this collection is about) misses the point of free software (what he advocates for).

Not only that, even assuming that somehow he got in, I can only imagine his reaction after knowing that his photo became an NFT.

I realize Open source and FSF are different organizations with distinct purposes, but I tend to take a larger view of open source that includes both. They don't have to be mutually exclusive of one another.

Perhaps RMS can be off-putting with some of his views, but you can't deny he is indeed a unique character with significant contributions.
