I'm not sure this qualifies as a materially different story than the original, which was already discussed.
I do find it amusing the lengths that this tech blog and others have gone to spin it as a major disruption to spotify. The only story I see here is that reality won't get in the way of a story about the consequences of failure to censor. It reminds me of a (n even much weaker) version of the "employee protests" over Dave Chappelle's comedy show on Netflix.
By all accounts, Rogan had far more listeners before moving behind the Spotify paywall. So the irony is that if Spotify dropped Rogan (which no one, including Young, thought would happen) his podcast would be reaching more listeners again.
