Ask HN: How do Instagram pages get hacked / taken down?

Hi HN,

My friend has a business page on Instagram with a very large following over the years and all of a sudden it keeps getting taken down.

I have no idea how people are able to take Instagram pages down at will, I told him to contact Facebook / Meta to reinstate this but he hasn't heard back from them.

Any thoughts on this and has this happened to you? What should I do in this situation?
