The guy just has a very smarmy thing going about him. The whole tweet storm, these odd words, just has a bit of a Travis Kalanick type “slimy valley founders” thing.
Just rubs me the wrong way, can’t explain why. Am I alone here?
I in person interviewed with them late 2015ish, was extra cause the "office" was just someone's house. They ghosted me, didnt return calls/emails . I guess I was horribly bad candidate/human to deserve such treatment.
Edit: I cannot say i specifically recall if Ryan (or any individual) was involved at the time. Perhaps ryan joined later or was not involved at all?

I interviewed with them in person late 2015-ish, it was quite the over the top experience because their "office" was just a residential apartment (right near twitter).
