Royal Mail – Reinventing stamps for the future (royalmail.com)

I think this is interesting, because most of the time when I get post from Royal Mail, the stamps haven't been postmarked. So in theory this removes that potential fraud - the post gets scanned, check it's valid, done.

Terrible for privacy.

Not to mention they will phase out normal stamps. Seems like they will surveil anything they get their hands on.
