What provides ‘bash’ on your system? Other shells will choke on its array syntax.

nope. i use konsole and i have never installed anything other so it would be bash

I ran the script for a while and apparently these are available:

bjc.de caw.de cqk.de ctf.de eqn.de fab.de hwj.de iwy.de myd.de

I stopped it after that.

They look free but they aren’t I can’t register them with any provider even if some say they are free during the domain search.

Are there still 5 letter .com domains?

Bad script with lots of false positives. For .nl domains for instance, you must query it with whois and grep for "name.nl is free".

Just because there are no DNS records doesn't mean the domain is free.
