Backend-focused software engineer seeking full-time, remote role. I'm particularly interested in developer roles where I can eventually explore DevOps and data engineering.

My most recent project was Aria: an open-source, stand-alone canary deployment tool (Typescript, AWS, Svelte, Docker, Prometheus, Go). I'm most familiar with Javascript, Ruby, and React, but am eager to learn new things.

Bonus life skills: former K-12 teacher (empathy, communication) and one-time STEM PhD student (independent problem-solving, tolerance for ambiguity).

I know this isn't the conventional place for non-technical posts, but I figured my skills could be helpful to companies here in a non-technical capacity. Right now I'm a records specialist at a small company where I manage staff and client records as well as coordinate volunteers to help generate leads. Before that I worked at a historical society where I did things like facebook marketing, gave guided tours, wrote and sent out press releases, and brought in donations from local businesses for fundraising events.

I am a senior software engineer / lead with 20 years of experience in many different industries. Most recently I was the only then primary engineer leading a startup to a successful exit. I am a polyglot with experience in several languages - I am an expert in a language I would like to move away from. Most recently I have been focused on TS/JS but would be interested in just about any language; with a little time I can become proficient in any language. I am especially interested in typed and/or functional languages. I am most interested in backend positions, but I am experienced in frontend and devops. I may be interested in data science positions - I have a strong SQL and relational DB background. I have a lot more written about my background and outlook in my resume.

In my current role I have a wide range of responsibilities and not much focus. Would prefer to join a well established team where I can contribute deeply. Looking for stability, good work life balance, and a remote first team.

For the past 8 years, I've been doing a mix of analytics, advanced analytics, and applied data science. My main interests are automation, data visualization, and forecasting.

Looking for a Data Scientist, or Technical Analyst role.

If you are looking for a consulting- or contract-based resource, I am interested and open to take on projects of many varieties. Over the last 10 years, my professional experience has touched on Education, Professional Consulting, IT Management, E-Commerce, and I hold my MA in English teaching. I have led multiple successful development teams within the companies I have worked at, on projects of large complexity, some with millions of users and in revenue.

For my most recent completed work, I created https://awayto.dev, a free open source web application generation platform. It uses React, Redux, Material UI, NodeJS, Typescript, Webpack, Postgres, AWS Cognito, Lambda, CloudFormation, CloudFront, S3, API Gateway, as well as my own custom scripts. Awayto makes it fast to deploy low-cost web applications and then have a skilled developer come in and build up your application. https://github.com/keybittech/awayto

Thank you for your time.

I'm a principal-level individual contributor with 14 years of full-stack experience in a wide variety of technologies, languages, and problem spaces.

These include no-code web builders for forms and whole applications that have saved thousands of developer-hours and millions of dollars, HIPAA-compliant, versioned and fully-auditable data stores, configurable streaming data infrastructure system, and a workflow engine that is responsible for the coordination of a live production application that serves millions.

5 years experience mainly with the .Net stack. You may know me from the Bracket Pair Colorizer extension for VSCode. Every software project is unique with requirements and challenges, so I don't want to restrict myself to a domain or language, learning is part of the job. Most importantly, I'm looking for a job in another country, as I would love to relocate (in Europe or Australia)

Location: Boston, MA.

Remote: yes, please.

Willing to relocate: no, or depending on the opportunity.

I care passionately about building the right team, and the right product.

I've been at FAANGs for approximately 14 years now, and am looking for a change. I've been a TL, manager, and individual contributor. I currently manage an /extremely/ senior team of engineers at a FAANG working on cloud technologies and computer languages. In the past year, products I've managed have delivered hundreds of millions of dollars in savings to my company, and others in the cloud space. Would consider almost any role, depending on the product space, responsibilities, compensation, and team; but, it's more likely to attract my attention and serve you best if you're hiring for senior leadership or management.
