He's not wrong about some of this, but DHH has lost so much credibility that he's not a particularly desirable public face of this fight.
He got so many things right in the old Java enterprise times that it would be impossible to compete with his own reputation.

Also by choosing to work less and stay small he limited his own power of influence, which is not a big deal actually in real life.
