I've worked for corps and startups,

Everyone is building a fancy dashboards where the perfection is root cause analysis and the WHY made perfect.

It looks good of course, until its doesn't.

Those dashboards are wrong most of the time because the data collected is bad.

What do you mean?

Short version: we had a conversion funnel for one of our purchase funnel which was wrong because of bad data. The mistake was a developer error.
