I'd like to see a more technical description of the platform, as in what guarantees are provided and technical challenges for this platform.

That being said, it's nice that they got some good YT creators on.

Particularly, their Tech category has a few YouTubers I regularly watch.
It is well known to be home to most antivax and conspiracy stuff.
Some crazy shit, but also some good shit. Hard part is figuring out which is which.
So because there's no political or economical pressure based censorship, does that invalidate the platform? Is all the content suspect because some people have the wrong opinions or beliefs?

Your comment is shallow and dismissive. It's also offensive - you should celebrate efforts to make the world more free, and maybe not shit on people for trying.

Do you differentiate between moderation and censorship?
I see the comment section is already just like YouTube's. Impressive work
Take note, Peertube - this is what a good landing page for a Youtube alternative platform looks like. No mention of politics, just a big wall of content.
Personally - I'd still very much like to see the "Finance 2.0" tab gone.

"Finance" would have done the job just fine.

with a noscript/basic (x)html browser I get a blank page.

It seems those ppl missed some important points...

For an MVP I don't think supporting the specifics of 0.01% of internet users is an "important point".
