Having never played video games before, I tried Stadia for the Cyberpunk 2077 release. I liked the experience initially but long loading times, and unintuitive menu navigation slowly turned me off to the experience. I ended up playing less and less, and now my controller sits in a box in the closet. I'm not against stadia, as a newcomer to the gaming environment I like the idea that I don't have to keep buying and upgrading a console or PC parts to get the best experiences. What holds me back is the odd interface and the inability to share my gameplay with my actual gamer friends.

All that being said, I wish the best for the Stadia team. The article said several people left and the division now only takes up 20% of the team's time but I like the idea of cloud gaming and hope it continues to get better and live on as the backend of other big games as "Google Stream".
