Ask HN: HN-like sites for engineering topics

While I really enjoy the conversations in the HN think-tank collective, the topics usually are far off from my area of expertise, whish is in electronics and radio engineering. Are there sites of similar format and quality that go more into "traditional" engineering topics instead of software?
