He is a retired Navy aviator, and his channel has taught be a lot about the nature, and dangers, of Naval Aviation.

This was a daytime landing, by the way.

The navy plans to do much less pilot training on carrier landings, preferring to rely more on automatic systems. Seems like something to be filed under "what could go wrong?"
