EU plans to spend €43 ($49) billion over 10 years. Meanwhile, TSMC plans to spend $44 billion in 2022 alone. This gap in funding makes me wonder if this will actually have any impact? It feels like trying to start a fission reaction but not committing enough to have critical mass
