Ask HN: Best open source icon SVG pack? 8 points by ethor 4y ago ↗ HN Out of habit I have been using Font awesome for quite some time now, but since Font Awesome seemingly has pivoted into a SaaS product, what open source icon SVG packs do you use for your project?

[–] xvello 4y ago ↗ I am currently moving from fontawesome to bootstrap-icons, as it is slowly but surely catching up and fully MIT licensed. For comparison:- Fontawesome 5.15: 1608 free icons (out of 7864 total)- Fontawesome 6.0: 1748 free icons (out of 14865 total!)- Bootstrap Icons 1.8: 1683 free icons→ https://icons.getbootstrap.com/
