Samsung Clipboard History Catching and Saving Passwords

I recently discovered that my Samsung phone keeps a clipboard history. This history contained multiple passwords that I had copied from my password app to log in. There is no way to disable this function without rooting the phone...which means I must remember to manually clear the history after using it.

Does installing a different keyboard make a difference?

What password manager do you use? Keepass2Android can both use the android autofill framework or comes with a custom keyboard that can input from your passwords - both of these options avoid the clipboard.
