tl;dr: Run a browser on a different computer that isn't restricted, and then use a Web VNC client to connect to and use it.

Exactly! but in this case, no need of separate hosting and no charges. If you were to host one and go via its domain. It better comes with a valid certificate and more importantly the corp network must allow the connection to me made (of course getting tagged by internal security monitoring crap).
