Tell HN: Zoom wants to know my location

I just got a popup from Zoom saying

"ZOOM [sic] would like to access your location for when you make an emergency call. Location can be based on IP addresses, wireless access point ID, GPS coordinates when available. This will help the emergency response team determine where you are.

[Don't allow] [Allow]"

This is going a bit far, and the explanation is a far fetched too. Who'd make a Zoom call to call an ambulance or the police?
