(not a comment on the content) It's always jarring when I run into a true non HTTP website in the wild, but oddly adding HTTPS to that link shows that a wildcard *.store.yahoo.com certificate is being used (valid from Jan 3, 2022 through June 29, 2022).
I left off the s because in chrome, the ride in is more jarring because you have an extra set of steps to continue on as a safe site, and then shows the https crossed out in red. Without the s, it just has the grey warning beside the URL, which is a little more civilized.
Have you seen the Smug Lisp Weenie stuff? If I ever saw a modern fancy paulg site, I'd turn and run, 'cos we know from experience that is not his style. Some people wear it well.
