With "secure boot", presumably Intel could give you a discount if you let the CPU put ads on your screen. Every year we inch closer to the dystopia we were warned about long ago. "Please drink a verification can."
This is so short sighted on the side of intel. If anything, intel needs to reduce the sku count of the xeons, not add dozens more options. Microsoft started doing this after they realized that people don’t want to look at a spreadsheet to figure out what they actually need.
