I just wanted to say, as per your TODO thingy on github:
> "TELL PEOPLE TO EMAIL ME IF THEY LIKE MY BLOG POSTS!!"
Nice blog! I like your posts! Some great nuggets there! I've been meaning to 'just write stuff' like this for a while now ... but I always seem to get stopped one way or another ... (not least due to my ever-unfinished academic homepage that I always feel I need to finish setting up properly first before I actually start committing stuff to the blog part of it...)
Hi Taz!! I'm glad you liked my blog! It's totally been worth the work for me over the years, even though I'm the main visitor haha. As you saw from the README, I have a lot of TODOs and ideas, and I'm going to try to advertise some of them in various places over time. Maybe something will stick, maybe not.
You're bashtickets repo intrigued me, thanks for making it public. I really recommend you just start writing and then when you eventually get around to polishing your website you already have material :)
Re: realpath: unfortunately, realpath isn't installed by default on MacOS, where I spend the majority of my time. That's what drove me to write that alias.
Marriage has been great; time flies and now we have a baby boy on the way! Say a prayer for our parenting skills haha.

Thanks :) Taz
PS. Regarding https://www.bbkane.com/blog/short-bash-snippets#get-the-full... : you don't actually need any of dem perl shenanigans; standard linux comes with the `realpath` command which does just that! :)
PS2. Thank you for starring my bashtickets repository! :)
PS3. Congrats on getting married!
