I've noticed AWS has a mirror of Docker images [1], I am hopeful they are mirroring the image itself and not just the metadata.

Looks like the WWW site as well as some other subdomains (including bugs) are also down

On their OFTC IRC channel #alpine-infra they stated that there was a DDoS attack against them.
