Not sure if you're being ironic. I have a hard time seeing how a highly polarised forum such as Twitter would benefit from being able to downvote.

As I mentioned on the other thread about this, one of the few things I like about Twitter is how there's no downvote. If the move forward with this, all that is left is Instagram, and federated networks like Mastodon.

Really wish they just stop trying to make Twitter worse.

Wasn't there an idea to monetize hiding your own tweets at some point? Not that I believe it would lead to a fair and constructive exchange, but hiding other peoples tweets for money is perhaps a pretty lucrative idea...

I remember an old forum, you could pay money to change members avatars, ban them for a week, change their user title, username, etc.
